Verizon Connect Pricing 2026: Reveal Costs & Contracts

Rules, prices and device details on this page were checked October 2026 against the official sources listed at the bottom. Where a provider doesn't publish a number, we say so instead of guessing.

Verizon Connect Reveal is a full fleet management platform with GPS tracking, ELD compliance, dash cams and more. Like many large providers, it doesn't post commercial prices on its website. But there's a useful public clue. Verizon publishes a pricing catalog for government buyers under its NASPO ValuePoint contract, and it lists monthly prices for each Verizon Connect product. Commercial pricing may differ, but it gives you a solid reference point. For the full review, see our Verizon Connect review.

Plans

Reveal is built in layers. You start with vehicle tracking, then add the modules you need. Here's how the public sector catalog from August 2026 prices them:

ProductPublic sector catalog price
Vehicle tracking, 12 month term with professional install$19.45 a month
Vehicle tracking, self install$17.45 a month
Log book (ELD)$4.95 a month
DVIR$1.25 a month
Navigation$7 a month
Dash cam, road facing$24.95 a month
Dash cam, road and driver facing$29.95 a month
Asset tracking$8.95 to $12.95 a month

These are contract prices for public agencies, not a commercial quote. We include them because they show the structure. A truck that needs tracking plus ELD logs comes to roughly $24.40 a month on that schedule. Add a dual facing camera and it's about $54.

Hardware

The vehicle tracking unit connects to the truck and reports location and engine data. Drivers use the Verizon Connect app on a phone or tablet for ELD logs and inspections. Cameras and asset trackers are separate devices.

The catalog also lists some service fees that are easy to miss:

  • Vehicle tracking unit install: $80.
  • Installation no show fee: $150, charged if the vehicle isn't available for a scheduled install.

That no show fee is worth flagging to your dispatchers. If a truck is out on a load when the installer arrives, you may pay for the wasted trip.

Contracts

Verizon Connect has moved toward more flexible terms. It says customers can choose their initial contract length, and when the term ends, service continues month to month at the same discounted rate instead of jumping to a higher price. It also says professional installation is included in those plans.

That's a better deal than many older telematics contracts, but there's still an initial term. Before you sign, check:

  • The length of the initial term you're choosing.
  • Early termination charges during that term.
  • Whether hardware is included or billed separately.
  • Whether you can add or remove vehicles midterm.
  • How you export your ELD records and data if you leave.

As with any ELD, you're responsible for keeping six months of records. Make sure you can get them out before a contract ends.

Is It Worth It?

Verizon Connect makes sense for fleets that want one vendor for tracking, compliance, cameras and maybe asset tracking, and that value Verizon's support and network. Its modular pricing is a plus if you only need certain features. For a fleet that only needs logs, though, paying for a tracking unit plus an ELD module can cost more than a dedicated low cost ELD.

Estimating Your Monthly Cost

Because Verizon Connect prices by module, you can build a rough budget yourself. Start with vehicle tracking for each truck. Add the ELD log book for every truck that needs HOS logs, and DVIR if you want electronic inspections. Then add cameras, navigation or asset trackers where they make sense. Using the public sector figures as a guide, here's how three common setups compare per truck:

  • Compliance only: tracking with self install plus log book and DVIR comes to about $23.65 a month.
  • Compliance plus navigation: add $7 for roughly $30.65 a month.
  • Compliance plus safety: add a dual facing camera for roughly $53.60 a month.

Your commercial quote may be higher or lower, but the structure tells you which modules drive the bill. Cameras are usually the biggest single add on, so decide early whether you need them on every truck or only some.

Questions to Ask Sales

  • Can I get a line item quote by module, like the public catalog?
  • What term lengths are available, and how does the price change by term?
  • Is hardware purchased, leased or included?
  • Are there fees for activation, install, no shows or deinstalls?
  • What happens to my rate when the initial term ends?

Ask for a pilot on a handful of trucks if you can. A short test shows whether drivers like the app, whether the install goes smoothly and whether the reports are useful before you commit the whole fleet. It also gives you a real invoice to check against the quote, so there are no surprises when the full rollout bill arrives.

A little homework up front saves a lot of money and frustration over the life of the contract, so take the time to compare carefully.

Alternatives

If you want published prices and no term, small fleet ELDs are the simplest path. HOS247 starts at $19 a month, Matrack lists plans from $19.95 to $24.95 a month, and BIT ELD offers $40 a month or $400 a year. For bigger telematics platforms, compare quotes from Samsara, Motive and Geotab resellers. Our best ELD devices roundup and ELD cost guide lay out more choices.

Whatever you choose, get written quotes from at least two or three providers for the same set of features. It's the only way to know if a price is fair.
